I assumed that it is Darkseid that Supes is having the standoff with? Nice angle on that particular strip, BTW.

Yes, Darkseid. vainpageantry showed me Apokalips Now, his favorite episode from the Dini Superman. The top of his head should probably be rounded instead.

Yes, I think rounding the head would make it more apparent.

If that's the episode I'm thinking of, yes, it was a fantastic one. The ending with Turpin was a jaw-dropper.
