I assumed that it is Darkseid that Supes is having the standoff with? Nice angle on that particular strip, BTW.

Yes, Darkseid. [livejournal.com profile] vainpageantry showed me Apokalips Now, his favorite episode from the Dini Superman. The top of his head should probably be rounded instead.

Yes, I think rounding the head would make it more apparent.

If that's the episode I'm thinking of, yes, it was a fantastic one. The ending with Turpin was a jaw-dropper.
