Hey, I'm creating a fictional universe in which various "Stock" characters appear again and again throughout history. In tribute to Arthur, King of Time and Space, I'm using King Arthur for one of those 10, but I couldn't think of a good alternate, but still related name for him.
For instance, I'm using "Rob Hoody" as "Robin Hood". I considered "King Arty", but that doesn't roll of the tongue, and it's a bit too obvious. As the creator of the comic I'm tributing, perhaps I should ask you!
So whaddya reckon? I'm open to switching the gender.
I initially intended writing a punchline with no allusion to ABC's programming tonight at all, and to let the reader figure out or not what I was editorializing against. Serendipity had other plans.
I've been following your comics for years. I actually found the website before I found that you actually had an LJ (i literally found that 2 minutes ago) The crossover comics with MASH was got me into it originally. I love your stuff, just wanted to compliment you on your work.
Also, thank you for not putting out a remembrance comic on 9-11...I'm an New Yorker, and as for me (i can't speak for anyone else) I just wanted it normal on that day! so thanks!
