All this fuss, and all I really learned that I didn't know before is that in the twentieth century we named our pop heroes after things in the universe and in the twenty-first century we name things in the universe after our pop heroes.

Is it possible that, in spite of our scientific and technical growth, humanity is actually regressing emotionally and spiritiually? Because quite frankly I don't see much evidence on a global scale that we're improving ourselves. No wonder the aliens don't want anything to do with us.

i don't see why its a sign of our regression.

heck, Greek and Roman myths and legends were the pop culture of their day.

For the record, tho, the planet won't be named Xena.
