Kay, how did the woman you want to marry end up as your legal guardian?

Kay writes: My dad was fosterdad to Bedivere and Arthur. Then he got called up even though he was forty seven but when your called you answer. His old buddy Merlin was our guardian till Bedivere turned eighteen in Feburary then he went home and Bedivere was. Bedivere is still Arthur's guardian till he turns eighteen in December. Then me and Bedivere are going to Camelot U as ROTC enlistees.
