Enjoy the colonoscopy. I had my first one a couple of years back, and outside of being blind and asleep, I don't remember anything about it.

I even quickly recovered so I could drive back home. They generally don't recommend it, but I don't like being a passenger, so that sped it up. ;)

The best advice I got about it was from Trace Beaulieu, who said, "It's just like you're asleep, only a big metal cable is going up your ass."

In my experience, the worst part of a colonoscopy is drinking a gallon or so of soapy water beforehand. BLECCHH.

I didn't remember the actual procedure at all. I felt pretty good for a while afterwards, from the drugs, though :)
