In the fairytale arc, I'm particularly enjoying the running joke about how all the hermits and whatnot are getting provided with crib notes about the symbolic significance of everything.

Thanks. Given Claudius' comment about philosophers and how it must certainly also apply to theologians, I couldn't think of any explanation for all the monks in the Grail stories' sources to all be on the same page than for them all to literally be on the same page.

Just currious about a few things, well confused really.

I can't seem to suss out who the "Godfather" figure is supposed to be.

Also, I guess I'm not up to date on my popular culture but what does Guisewite have to do with a Toyota?

That's Odin. The eyepatch, the son carrying a hammer, and the "died on a tree" bit in the first timezone where he appears all are hallmarks of Odin.

This week on the internet, Adam Carolla claimed that women can't be as funny as men.

No, no, I get that it's Odin with the Ravens. But who is he supposed to represent in the Presidential arc? Or is this just an Allfater - Godfather pun?

What? The creator and original co-host of The Man Show said something demeaning about women? I just can't believe that ;-)

I hadn't thought of the pun. But he's some sort of crime boss, and apparently one with enough influence that Arthur wants his support.
