In my cartooning class at the American Academy of Art in 1986-7, one assignment was a page of a comic book. This is what I did for that assignment, reenvisioned in triangles. (I still have the original, a little the worse for moves. It's poster-size and won't fit in the 8.5x11 scanner or I'd print it here.) I explained to the instructor that it was a scene from Star Trek II if Star Trek II had been a Doctor Who story instead, and his only comment was, "That doesn't defy the format of Doctor Who, does it? I mean, there isn't one villain who's in every episode?"

Aw, I pictured Tom Baker shaking and screaming, "KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNN!"

But this is quite cool :>!

Having watched Two Doctors very recently, I have this comment.

Granted, the Fifth Doctor ("old man in a young man's body") is the right personality for the -movie- in general. However, for this -scene- the Sixth Doctor seems more appropriate.

I love what you do with the expressions... Tegan's "What?!" in the second panel and the Doctor's "I don't like to loose." in the fifth panel really go a long way to showing what kind of possibilities open up when you reduce the characters to these basic, iconic forms.
