- Jefferson excised all the mysticism from the Gospels to extract the philosophy. Washington referred to God obliquely and Jesus never.
- The founding fathers were "free-thinkers". After 1776 Jefferson and Madison broke the Anglican power base that existed in Virginia.
- The last thing the founding fathers believed in (besides a common theism) was doing things because some authority did it that way.
- Barton says Jefferson's "wall of separation" between state and church is one-way. Yeah, because that's the default state of a wall.

That's the OFFICIAL story. There have been hints on the show that there's evidence to the contrary, but the Powers That Be are covering it up.
Avatar isn't a great movie, but it's an important movie
That's exactly what I said about Tron when the sequel was coming out, and a friend of mine was grumbling about how the original was a pretty crummy movie.
