Though Wikipedia has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate, it scores over the older, more pedestrian Encyclopedia Britannica in one important respect: it is slightly cheaper.
It's unfortunate that the towel one must bring with them to Wikipedia is often for putting out spite-fires and wiping off enraged spittle.
Still, I've been doing research for a project of late, and their information on ancient mythology appears to be pretty spot-on, so who am I to complain?
