If you saw these two figures on seperate pages, are they differentiated enough that you could tell they were meant to be different?

My gut reaction would be to assume that the hair difference was passage of time. If it was pointed out in some way that they're different, I'd then notice the chins, but not at first.

Not sure. It might depend whether I was *expecting* to see the same person turn up again or not.

I think I'm getting better at identifying your triangle characters generally, but I don't find it easy. Except for folks like 7Doc, whose costumes are so distinctive. =:o}

Is the one on the left the Dick York Darrin, and the one on the right the Dick Sargeant Darrin?

Exactly.

The eyes should be different. Dick York had REALLY prominent eyes, Dick Sargent had small, almost beady eyes. That's the big difference that the caricaturists emphasized in the two different animated openings, and any Darrin-Vs-Darrin portrayal should play that up.

I'm not sure the difference is as marked in the caricatures as you suggest, but I think you're right about the actors' features and that's something I can use.
