It'd be too pat if River were Amy and Rory's daughter. However, whatever they do will surely be interesting even if that's what they choose!

Looked to me like the Silence were feeding on humans, and that all their manipulations were to cultivate a healthy population of chattel.

I don't LIKE being chattel, personally.
