It's probably worth mentioning occasionally, for those who avoid Twitter reposts in LJ entries on some kind of principle, that I signed up at Twitter solely to use it as an LJ client. For the rest of you, my mirror service dropped the ball for last Thursday's entries (I didn't see anyone else who uses the same service either); it's working again now, but I recreated the missing Thursday entry manually.
