This is a The-Stig-in-the-TARDIS story, if not exactly "The Stigg being the Doctor's companion.

I remember reading, but can't now find the link for, a Top Gear/Stargate crossover in the course of which it is revealed that The Stig, like The Doctor, The Master, The Monk, and The Rani, is himself a Time Lord, complete with his own TARDIS, which, in order to prevent the other three noticing and becoming interested in it, is permanently disguised as a Reliant Robin.

On the hero of three faces about Buffy and Angel... I did read the recent comics and am mildly exasperated. In one comic they're implying that Spike's caused Angel's current stint as Twilight. On the other, they've just stated that he has no soul after all. I'd like a better explanation for that than "Oh, he never really had one, he just thought he did" or anything like that.
