I confess that I got my Doppler shift reversed, and up until Thursday, I was wondering why this was a flash-forward.

It's a flashBACK because it would have happened during the Time Skip, da?

Space Gareth's initial quest happened during the time skip. Fairy Tale Gareth's quest happened about a week ago, just after Pentecost. As Arthur and Guenevere discuss above.

Given the 5/31 strip, and since we're in flashback mode anyway, are we also going to see how these events played out in the space arc?

(For instance, is Lynnette a guy when Gareth's a girl?)

I don't understand the one about Lancelot not understanding things.

Lancelot knows that chipped beef is also known as "shit on a shingle" but he still doesn't know what chipped beef is.
