Writer's Block: Sheldon and Penny 4ever!

I don't think I have anything to say in answer to this question that I haven't already said in this journal over the past two weeks. You might say, "Since your entry on the Gabaldon blogpost, you've written a lot supporting fanfiction in an academic, factual way, but you haven't actually given an opinion." If you did, I'd answer, "Did you see the index post I made yesterday? Go look. It's four or five screens long, and that's only what's tagged stories in this journal, where not everything from my original fanfiction website has been imported yet. This doesn't make my opinion clear?"

Also, I don't think Sheldon and Penny are destined for romance.

Date: 2010-05-13 02:29 am (UTC)There's no obligation to answer a Writer's Block. But I didn't think I could let this one go, when it was doubtless inspired by the discussions following Galbaldon's and George R.R. Martin's bloggings on the subject, and given my own passion for it.
I can't comment on Sheldon and Penny because I don't watch Big Bang Theory. Though, from what I know about the characters second-hand, I gather that it would be out of character for Sheldon to be romantically involved with anyone, both from his own preference and as a result of his behavior?
