Writer's Block: Countdown

Ten minutes? Give me sixty seconds. I'll make sure I have my laptop (including power cord and wireless mouse) and my USB drive, and then I have all my data and a second copy of the most important. Shuck'em into my laptop bag and I have my primary arthurian sourcebooks too (though if we weren't taking our own car I'd have to get the New Arthurian Encyclopedia from it).

With ten minutes I suppose I'd also grab spare socks and underwear.

qtrhorserider would probably want enough stuff to fill the other nine minutes though. The kids' baby momentos, the Doctor Who DVDs ... she's got data on two or three computers she'd want kept ...

I have four gerbils in three cages and three indoor cats. I could throw them all in my car. They'd be very confused. But the easiest part would be "Throw computer and accessories into computer case, grab purse and all portable food items." I would definitely want every bit of those ten minutes to secure the gerbils and their food, the cats and their food. Okay, I'm good for my ten.
