Thanks for reading.

ONE person got it, but it was a narrow thing.

I watched My World and Welcome to It when I was little, but didn't start watching Star Trek regularly until several years later, in syndication.*

I never made the connection until now, when, suddenly, vivid images of William Windom slumped in an office chair at a drafting board flooded back to me.

As the kids say these days, I LOL'ed.

Is there a Hugo for Most Obscure Geek Reference? You're a shoe-in!

Has that show ever been rerun or released to video?

*I was two when Trek premiered; my sisters were 4 and 6. The Salt Monster was Nightmare Fuel. That was the last first-run episode our family watched.

Oh, I got the Decker joke. I may have watched only one or to episodes of MWAWTI, but curiously enough, it's usually the first thing that comes to my mind when you mention William windom.

And Debbie Benton was from a small town in Texas, and she was trying to get to Dallas.

Spike and/or Angel probably saw DDD when it was originally released. Spike probably claims that he was on the set when it was being filmed. (Why not? He said he was at Woodstock.)

And did you know that there is a musical version of Debbie Does Dallas?
