Yeah, I had this fun discussion with another fan once.
"The series was full of strong female characters!"

"Who married a man she wouldn't be faithful to, got locked up and, we're told, raped by a man she later grew attached to, who was so swallowed by despair she was happy to die, then was resurrected and nearly went mad and, let's see... when it was all done she just disappeared?"
".... er... Commander Cain...?"
"The one who turned into a psychopath and would have slaughtered the remains of the human race if she could just take one more Cylon with them?"
"The President?"
"Skipping all the details, she died of her cancer at the end."
"Um..."
"Hey, my favorite was that great soldier who lasted until she was slaughtered investigating Leoben's ship."
