I saw it in 3D with my father. And I did love the art and animation. And detail. But my primary response was "Oh look, it's Disney's Pocahontas with aliens!" Just take Colors of the Wind for the main song.

I know it's supposed to be this big metaphor and message, but when you make everything so alien those get lost.
