Where did you publish/archive your stories? LiveJournal, the prose stories. The comic strips stories were also updated to my website(s). (This list doesn't even reflect 365 AKOTAS and somewhat fewer Hero of Three Faces comic strips for the year.)
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2009? Kirk/Spock/Uhura.
What’s your favorite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest. I think the two CoE leave-it-brokens. I think they're the ones I return to most often.
Okay, NOW your most popular story. I wouldn't know how to determine that.
Story most underappreciated by the universe? At the time I thought Walking in Eternity deserved more acknowledgement for being pretty much first to press with the notion that the Doctor left the 456 alone because the events are a fixed point.
Story that could have been better? Since Christopher Bidmead called Russell T. Davies a "first draft writer", I realized that I'm one too. Everything I've posted as fanfiction since 1996 could probably be better.
Sexiest story? Only real candidate is Finally.
Most fun story? Disorderly.
Story with single sweetest moment? Sweet was what I was going for in Force of Habit but I'm not sure it got there.
The story that made you cry? None.
Hardest story to write? Walking in Eternity. Not to contradict myself on the first draft thing, but that one started out as a scene between the Doctor and Jack.
Easiest story to write? Certain Rules. As I said at the time, given the challenge, the last six words wrote themselves and I just had to fill in the rest of the drabble.
Most overdue story? I did the "name three stories I'd never write and I'll try to write a snippet from one of them" meme a second time several weeks ago, and never wrote anything to respond to the responses.
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them? I tried to 'ship the Doctor and my favorite companion, and learned that I disbelieve a nine-hundred-year-old time traveler can have a One True Love so strongly that I can't write as if I did.
Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year? I think I decided the other day to do as much of it in cartoons instead of prose as possible.
