Hope your mom's okay. Have they said what the sudden surgery was all about yet?

She's doing well, thanks. As for why they moved the surgery up to yesterday after initially talking about today, I suspect it has to do with that the gall bladder was swelling. No one's said so (though neither have I asked), but I think they went in Friday in hopes of catching it before they'd be unable to remove it laproscopically. But in the end they did have to make a conventional incision.
