I followed links through demiurgent's daily Twitter echo post including a tweet about something called StripsApp that was distributing webcomics on the iPhone without the creators' permission. By the time I looked the app creator had replaced any illicit content with an abject apology ... but along the way I looked to see whether the login name akotas is available on Twitter.

Might as well sign up to claim the name. You can have a Twitter account and ignore it. Acmespaceship is on Twitter, located in the Tehran time zone (which tells you when I set up the account) and I haven't looked at it since. I believe Twitter is the end of civilization. But someday I might want a ringside seat.
