Date: 2006-03-18 09:24 pm (UTC)As I understand it (and I could be wrong), phenomenology is concerned with the world as we experience it, without making a distinction between subjective and objective. In which case, I think the phenomological answer would be: "There might be an Afterlife ... But let's cross that bridge when we come to it. 'Kay?"
Wasn't there a song by Sting (or somesuch) with the line: "Let's make Heaven a place on Earth"?
