Writer's Block: Would you sell out for reality TV stardom?

It might depend on the show. E.g., I'd probably dance with a star for more'n several thousand, plus expenses. I'd take ten thousand to have Simon Cowell eliminate me in the first round. I might take a million to fall from a great height on a bungee cord on Fear Factor. You couldn't pay me enough to eat bugs. Or to live in the Big Brother house for a significant amount of time - most shows that I would deign to appear on at all, I'd have to have this imaginary cash prize guaranteed without any requirement that I last past the season premiere, because I haven't any interest in, or (I hope) capability of, behaving the way reality tv contestants behave. I'd put in a genuine effort on Dancing with the Stars though, and I might even last a few weeks.

Remember the one where they send people to live in a monastery? I was thinking of trying for that one, but didn't know if they'd consider me since the only picture I had of myself at the time was an accidental shot of my behind (co-workers were trying to fix a digital camera while I was chasing after a network cable--I thought it was hysterical and had it as my desktop background for awhile.) And because I've had significant exposure to some of the cloistered offshoots of the Benedictines. (I'm a Camaldolese oblate.) It also would've been the quarter when I took my doctoral exams.
