  • I'm getting really pissed at the frequency that things I'm reaching for are at the extent of the range of my grasp.
  • How do you get IE 7 to stop moving your cursor from the Google toolbar searchword field to the URL field partway through your typing?

I don't know the answer to the second - but I'd like to! Drives me up the frakking wall!

On a semi-related note. What version of OWA is your school using? Firefox works fine with the Exchange 2003 version of OWA we have at work.

Speculating: Is anything else going on while you're typing in the Google toolbar?

For instance, it might be that IE automatically moves the cursor to the URL field when a page finishes loading, and that you're starting to type in the Google field while a page is loading, in which case the solution would be either to wait for the page to finish loading, or cut it short (by pressing Esc or whatever) before you start typing.
