Digestive troubles have, so to speak, passed. I took yesterday off work for recuperation. Off of Doctor Who sketching too, as you may have noticed. (Not off of AKOTAS. In fact I drew today's and tomorrow's yesterday. Every suggested best practices list for webcartoonists there is is topped by update on schedule.) I still have almost 120 hours sick time accrued over three and a half years.

We took scarfmom for pancakes for her birthday, and showed her the Sci-Fi Friday season finales, last night. I told her my take on twenty-first century Doctor Who and she says she thinks she'll probably like it better now.

For reasons I promptly forgot I googled herbert birdsfoot this morning, and discovered that Herbert Birdsfoot appeared on Sesame Street only three years. That boggles my mind, that he should have vanished from the face of the earth without my noticing. Those must have been the three years that I watched. I also see that Seymour the Elephant disappeared along with Muppets Tonight though his partner Pepe the King Prawn continues to have an illustrious career. Pity; I like elephants.

I remember Herbert Birdsfoot! At least, I vaguely remember what he looked like. I can't remember what his schtick was.

Sherlock Hemlock was my favourite.

History repeats itself. Seymour and Pepe got the wannabe-comic spot on Muppets Tonight because the guy below Fozzie Bear was too busy doing other things. And then, after Muppets Tonight ended, the guy below Seymour got too busy doing other things...

But Fozzie was Frank Oz, and I'm sure Miss Piggy (also Frank Oz) was a regular on Muppets Tonight.

Why isn't this available on DVD, so I can check?

Miss Piggy only did occasional guest appearances, I think.

I don't know, maybe after they finish releasing the good Muppet Show? (runs away terribly fast)
