1.) Go to my master fic list and pick out a line or two from one of my stories. (Must be a full line, please -- no sentence fragments or speech tags or other such nonsense.)
2.) I will respond with which story of mine I think it's from.
3.) A drabble to anyone who stumps me. If you do stump me, feel free to request a situation and characters.
I have two master lists: the main fanfiction index at my first website and what's tagged debut here at LJ.

Oh, and I subscribe to the definition of drabble that it's 100 words.

Date: 2009-06-04 02:16 pm (UTC)That's from the short Back to the Future crossover, whose title I can't remember. Here it is, it's called Back To Back To .... A sentence that didn't describe the overall plot might have been more of a stumper, but if you like you can demand a drabble on the basis that I couldn't remember the title. Also, I don't think I'd've remembered that was on the index, but there's so little on that index with Peri in it (as opposed to the list of stories I've circulated privately).

Date: 2009-06-05 01:34 pm (UTC)Oh, easy; I only have to write ninety-six words, the last six words are obvious.

Date: 2009-06-05 01:38 pm (UTC)I've made three guesses and I'm stumped. I owe you a drabble. But only after you give the answer!

Date: 2009-06-06 04:31 am (UTC)I've followed this meme all over the place, but this is the first time I've stumped anyone :) I'd do it myself, but I've only posted four stories, so it doesn't really seem fair.
As for the drabble: Tosh and the Doctor, on their first trip in the TARDIS. (I love requesting those two together :) )

Date: 2009-06-12 03:12 pm (UTC)I give up. Which story?
The last time I did this meme, only one person responded and I got it right away. This time I'm batting zero.
What would you like in a drabble?

Date: 2009-06-13 09:11 am (UTC)Hmmm, as for the drabble...Six/Peri - one of the two characters completely misses the point in an argument.

Drabble in about a week, the way I've been going.

Date: 2009-06-14 01:44 am (UTC)I ended up writing it today. It's inobviously (except that I labeled it) a sequel to the story you stumped me with. And while I was writing it I started a third story in my head, now mostly typed up, of what would definitely be a series of stories totally 'shipping the Doctor and Peri. It's not like I haven't 'shipped them before, if on Usenet and on the near side of the fourth wall; but 'shipping behind the fourth wall isn't something I've ever done before in a fandom anyone cares about (Star Trek: Enterprise).
