Sci Fi Saturday movie

James Callis (BSG) as Merlin in Book of Beasts (or Merlin and the Book of Beasts according to IMDb, which says it's still in production). Set after the fall of Camelot; the band of heroes is Galahad, Galahad's son (!!), Tristram's son Tristram and Arthur & Guenevere's daughter. Worth it for this exchange:

MORDRED: Where is the sword thrown into the lake?!
MERLIN: I hid it.
MORDRED: You hid the sword?
MERLIN: I hid the lake.

What I can't figure out is why on earth Callis decided to try to sound like the unholy mashup of a Welsh felon and Scooby-do.

XD Of all the nights to pass on Sci Fi Channel! We watched Throne of Blood on PBS instead. Silly us :)
