Today I pulled into the left-turn lane to Center from 84th. I noticed that the rear window wiper on the car ahead was broken off. Then I laughed.

The broken-off wiper flipped left then right, veep veep, then stopped. The guy had his rear wiper on intermittent, and he didn't know because the wiper was broken off.

I laughed the whole time I sat behind him at the red light. It probably isn't actually that funny, but every few seconds the knob would turn again veep veep.

(I actually followed the guy and missed my turn from Center to 90th because I pulled up next to him at the next red light and tried to get his attention to tell him, but I wasn't willing to lean on my horn enough as would have gotten him to look.)

Bit more of schagenfraude or whatever it's called than my humor usually runs to, I think, but a good laugh is a good laugh.

I did the eight happy days meme that was going around last month. Then I did another post on it the ninth day, and every once in awhile I still do one.
