It's being announced all over my flist that the BBC has announced that tomorrow it will announce David Tennant's successor in the role of the protagonist of Doctor Who.

Meh.

Link me to the first in-costume photo shoot, so I can start putting the character in my cartoons - then I'll be excited.

I do wish they'd choose someone NOT already famous. And throwing up the name of a big film star as a cast-mate? It makes me sneer! What right does someone who already makes bucks hand-over-foot to be in a show that makes other people's careers?
