Writer's Meme: Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top six favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag six other people to do the same.

Last time I did this one it was five. Here are six I didn't mention in those five:

  • I actually listed six last time, giving honorable mention to everything on my fanfiction site's T*R*E*K index. What if James T. Kirk never existed, and Hawkeye Pierce was born 300 years late? When I invented this game in the 70s, it was a way of generating more Star Trek while no one else was; now... Plus it gives me a chance to novelize classic Star Trek scenes while showing off my characterizations of the characters who got me through adolescence. After all, both MASH surgeons and Starfleet captains spend their careers cheating death.
  • Quondam Futurusque I thought of this as my magnum opus while I was writing it. It has a battle. Between this universe and the mirror universe it features all then-four Star Trek captains (and predated the Shatner/Reeves-Stevens mirror universe novel trilogy, barely). I love all six cliffhangers - I pretty much wrote the story around them.
  • Historical Revision, the King Arthur in Time and Space version The Doctor Who/Star Trek version of this was my first in a regular series of Usent serial crossovers, and when I got the idea to globally replace the franchises' proper names in my fanfiction with King Arthur characters this was the first story I tried it with. It proved to me that arthurization could work, and everyone here knows what that led to.
  • Huh. I guess I can't think of another full six.

I have always enjoyed your T*R*E*K stories. Any chance they might pop up in the Hw3F dailies as a one-shot (or would that be too much like AKOTAS?).

What the.... you're going out into the big scary internets and pimping the art!? No! You must stay in the friendslist until we ALL read you DAILY!!!

10 billion bonus points for trying to Find Your Audience, since it isn't always me :-)

I suppose I should point out that given Hawkeye's general disdain for the military in M*A*S*H, I would think it unlikely that even if he were born 300 years into the future, he would have chosen to go into Starfleet.
