About twenty minutes ago I said to myself, "What's with this story? Why isn't Meredith's hand in there, instead of this little girl even if she is played by a big name?"
We have a saying at our house: I could write this shit.
This was the first episode of Grey's Anatomy I've ever watched.
Sad thing is, I was saying to myself early on "what snappy dialogue. What fun characters. How could this show have slipped my notice?"
Then, of course, the Drama started, and those thoughts became more like "oh. *That's* how it escaped my notice." It's too bad, too, I was having great fun 'til the plot arrived.
