We spent an hour and a half in the basement/garage this evening due to the storms passing through the Omaha area tonight. There's been rain and hail too, and for once we got to witness the water leakage that occurs in the basement when the rain's hard. There's street flooding; I'm wondering whether I'll have trouble getting to work in the morning. North of the city, across the border in Iowa I think, there's a Boy Scout camp that was hit pretty hard: thirty or forty injuries, four fatalities (no specifics known at this writing), and all the buildings gone.
