"What did you do? You flushed a whole species' worth of children down the tube into the center of the earth because they weren't cute and they didn't have a planet of their own."

"Because they were going to wipe out humanity and seize Earth! These children are leaving, starting over on a new planet. I did make the offer to the Racnoss Queen, remember? She ought to have taken me up on it, she of all people knew what Time Lords are capable of -"

"'Lord' is right. All high and mighty and scary."

"Well. Er. It may just possibly be that she hadn't caught me at my best... Also, you never did see the baby Racnoss. One of the universal constants is the way the young of every species ticks off the cuteness factors: big head, small body, big eyes. Baby Racnoss are very bit as cute as baby Adipose. You would've wanted to take one home and dress it in a doggie sweater."
