Continuing my tradition of, rather than making resolutions, indulging the superstition that what you do New Year's Day is what you'll do all year, today I

• drew a cartoon each for both websites
• had posted a new story to LJ the previous evening
• had a good day at my new job (the kind of job where you don't get the holiday off, at least not when you've no seniority)
• went with qtrhorserider for a visit to the neighbor who is her past law school study buddy and future law partner
• watched Doctor Who and Boston Legal DVDs
• went to bed during the 21:00 hour on a work night
