Today I was in Target shopping for wrapping paper. I was trying to decide how to decide which roll I wanted; so since I'd be wrapping, among others, a present for my dad I decided I'd go with one that had imagery relating to Christ or the Nativity.

There wasn't any.

I'm not sure I'd want Nativity wrapping paper, anyway. Wouldn't it be a lot of extra work making sure you didn't accidentally cut baby Jesus in half or something?

They don't want to mess up Christmas with any Jesus stuff...

I can't remember ever seeing Nativity-themed wrapping paper. Cards and other decorations, yes. But I assumed that people weren't really into sticking Baby Jesus all over the most commercial aspect of the holiday, i.e. gift-giving.

It's a long shot, but have you tried your local Dollar General, Family Dollar, or similar clone?

I probably wouldn't have noticed this if I hadn't read this post earlier, but this afternoon I was wrapping presents at my grandma's house, and sure enough one of the rolls she had depicted two angels carrying a charismatic infant, presumably Baby Jee. Asked where it came from, and sure enough, Dollar General.
