Unkind cut

This morning at 7:30 qtrhorserider had a mammogram and an ultrasound. She says she could tell herself from the pictures even before the radiologist spoke to her that she'd need to have it out. They won't know till the surgery whether it's a malignancy or just a cyst or something. She was told it's not so urgent that it needs to come out this week, but it ought to be done before Labor Day. But the surgeon's office didn't open till 9:00 so we're going to have to wait till they call back before we can get a referral consult and/or a schedule for the surgery. She wants to wait till then before telling family so I'll privacy-lock this entry like I did the earlier one till we give the news out. Meanwhile, I told'em at work that I'd be in about 13:00 and I think I'll stand by that.

The thing about cellphones in the news today is there's no new data that they cause cancer. The WHO's just checking again cuz people won't let it go.
