1. Whole-episode flashbacks on Doctor Who to past incarnations, including ones who'd have to be recast.
2. Jason Lane and Richard White becoming mainstays of the Superman legend after debuting in Superman Returns (and sequels if any), as Jimmy Olsen did after debuting on radio.
3. J.J. Abrams' Star Trek being at least a recast and maybe a reboot of the original series.
4. The other two Firefly movies, in comic books if not on screen.
5. A King Arthur tv or movie series.
