Finally watched the latest last Highlander movie, from the DVR, despite the lukewarm reviews on my flist. I suspect it read better as a script than it plays. But I liked the ending.

Oi. I watched that this weekend as well. I was expecting bad. Hell, I saw Endgame. But Endgame had nothing on that movie. The story was muddled, the acting was godawful from everyone but the three returning characters, and it had some sketchy fourth-wall issues with the Guardian that I was NOT a fan of. I'm horribly depressed that Joe had to die for that piece of crap. It reminded me of Star Trek: Nemesis and its apparent attempts to destroy an enterprise (pun only mildly intended), only worse. All it needed was a dunebuggy.

Whew, that was rambly. I guess this is the first time I've unloaded my feelings about the movie to someone.

On a side note, have you seen the Wikipedia article on Methos? Someone put a hell of a lot of time and effort into that article.
