Experience suggests that contacting them before the problem is 24 hours old only gets me told it's on my end. Also that this rarely lasts more'n 24 hours.
This time it must have been a real problem though. AKOTAS is back up now - but obviously restored from a days-old backup because when I first looked it was only up-to-date through about Sunday. I wonder whether I should go through the archive and make sure it's all there. That's a weekend project though, with three plus years of daily updates to check up.
