They left the Doctor in the console room, with the note they didn't know he had and the regrets they knew he did.

In the kitchen Rose made tea. She brought Mickey a cup at the table, sat down, and said, "This is how I make you feel, innit."

"He's right. You are smart."

"You need to give me up, Mickey. It's hard and it's not fair, but I can't stop it and you don't deserve it."

"Could you, if he said the same thing?"

I think that factor This is how I make you feel... was the one thing missed by a LOT of people in that episode. Overshadowed by that whole "kissing" thing. :3

Short, but lovely. Mickey is VERY foreshadowed of who he becomes in this as well... a bit more blunt with Rose, but still loves her.

Nice!

So short, yet strikes a very pertinent point. I'm quite confused by GitF, I love it; yet I'm such a Doctor/Rose shipper that it kind of confuses me too. I've read some other fic written based on that episode that I've inserted into what I term my "personal canon" because it further explains along my version of events - I think that maybe his might be inserted into my personal canon as well!

Ouch. How do you say so much in five lines? This sums up practically the entire emotional arc for Season 2. Very very nice.

Ooh, that was a bit painful. Those five lines said a lot.

Really nice. :D

Concise and powerful. It's like you nailed a moment.

One of your best. So compact, yet so poignant. Definitely brevity being the soul of ... well, not wit per se, but excellent writing.
