I ought to mention that I appeared on the local nightly news Wednesday. About an hour after the neighbor kids knocked on my door to tell me a tree'd fallen on my jeep, they knocked on my door to tell me a passing telejournalist wanted to talk to me about the high winds that day. They used on air about ten seconds of the two or three minutes they got, which is probably par for that course. I caught it on the DVR and will transfer it to tape eventually.

Friday qtrhorserider went out to lunch with the people at her present temp assignment. They were sharing where they live, and the other person with a birthday this week told her, "It sounds like you live in the same complex as the guy who was on the news because a tree blew over on his car."
