My nose is full and my head hurts and I realized yesterday that the craving I'd had for a day or two was for orange juice. I wouldn't've gone into work at all today except I had two meetings in the morning. Then there was the Program Chairs' semesterly luncheon for the staff, so since I was there I stayed for that. After lunch on my way out to the car to take my headcold home to bed, I took a bad step and sprained my ankle. It doesn't hurt much, except when the ER doctor was twisting it to see whether it hurt; I was in and out with a minor injury in about an hour - must be a slow day. Now I'm sitting at home in the middle of the afternoon with a brace on my ankle and a prescription slip for Motrin in my pocket, and a bag of cheese cubes and a jug of orange juice.

It'd been about thirty hours of internet and no tv so I called the cable company and the tech sent a reset signal to the boxes. Apparently we ought to have got tv back at the same time as internet as far as the cable company knew, but our boxes needed to be prodded. We'd lost all the saved shows on the DVR, which doesn't surprise me, but we also lost all the recording programming so that'll have to be done over.

Now I need to decide whether for tomorrow's AKOTAS I'm going to draw the next gag scripted for the Saxon Rock sequence or a filler. But first, a nap!
