Rats too, further to Flushed Away, I noticed a poster for a film about a rat training to become a chef on my last cinema visit. I'm sure I don't need to tell you what the title might have been...
It's really because "March of the Penguins" was so successful. So, studios are capitalizing on this fondness for penguins.
I had a few problems with Happy Feet, not the least of which was that these people are going to go gaga over dancing penguins, but who gives a darn about starving penguins? In fact, so much that the movie was very careful to mention "Oh, well, the fish aren't coming, so the penguins are going to starve," but we must be sure not to show any SIGN that there are actually starving penguins. It might upset the kiddies. Or rather, their parents.
