Addendum to the update reliability post

I noted at the bottom of the post, here in my journal, that I crossposted it to webcomics and to snarkoleptics. The comments at snarkoleptics largely amounted to, "The attitude you have isn't as uncommon as you think." The comments at webcomics mostly amounted to, "No way dude, give me quality over quantity every time."

I think what's really going on here is that I don't consciously want to make a big deal of my upcoming thousandth daily update without missing any at AKOTAS (or at least I don't want to be seen to be making a big deal of it), but I'm contriving to make sure everyone knows anyway.

(It's the Valentine's Day strip. A week to go.)

How ling since you started doing paper dailies?

The first paper Daily was April 19, 1976.

But my unbroken daily streak only goes back about half a year before the inception of AKOTAS, and that half a year can't be documented because the Dailies on the fanfiction website are archived by date set, rather than by date updated.
