Looking back and realizing my last post here was two months ago when I announced I'd lost access to my Facebook account, I figure I ought to announce I got back on Facebook after all. On October 2 (cuz that was the 70th anniversary of the first Peanuts), I started a new account instead of finishing the security routine for the old one. I went back because there are some people on none other of my social forums I don’t want to lose that contact with, most notably my stepkids.

May it provide what you need and not make you buggy. I use FB for groups. At least it has threaded comments, even though they require many clicks to be readable.
