Aug. 17th, 2019 07:07 amI saw a deer in the park the other day. I don't even know the name of the park. It was the one at Giles and 156th.
Lately I've been going for a drive on the weekend after I get out of the laundromat. I'll pick a street and ride till I can't no more, to one end then the other, which can get really loopy in the suburbs and that's not a figure of speech. It's a way of getting out of the house and seeing new things.
I think I like it because it makes me miss my wife. Overall I find I prefer living alone at this time of my life but this is something that would be better with two. She'd've been down for it, too. Sometimes we'd do it on payday to find somewhere new to eat dinner. Once when we lived in Chicago we drove north on Sheridan Road for as far as we fould follow it, which may or may not have been as far as it goes. I forget whether we were actually going somewhere.
