About twenty minutes ago qtrhorserider said to me, "Can I be annoying?"

"About what?"

"I know you've changed your clothes, and you just brought the laundry downstairs to fold it, but can we go out to Best Buy or CompUSA after dinner?"

I said, "Okay, but you can't complain about the state of laundry for a year."

"A year?"

"That's the deal that's on the table."

"A year?"

"Yeah - that's, what, a seventieth of the time we'll spend together?"
