Sep. 14th, 2018 08:38 pmOnce my wife and I went to Applebee's for supper and I had a beer or two. As we left the restaurant I stumbled at the curb in the front of the restaurant on the parking lot, and my wife said, "That's it, I'm driving us home."
Now, I knew two beers aren't enough to make me unfit to drive. I knew from experience. My wife was there for some of those experiences. I could have said so, and I could have reminded her.
But I also know that there is nothing more convincing to people that you're too drunk to drive than to deny it and argue about it. I didn't say anything and my wife drove us home.
And this is why smart people don't say "Not all men!" or "All lives matter!"
